Because our blankets are custom-made just for you and your dog(s), we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges.
Every order is created with care and intention — whether it's a print, blanket, or sticker pack — and inspected to ensure it meets our standards before it ships out.
We send all files and digital packages to your email for your approval before submitting orders to our print partners.
We urge you to make sure all information /text is accurate.
That said, if something arrives damaged or doesn't look quite right, reach out to us at shelley@barkandbone.ca within 7 days of delivery. We’ll always do our best to make it right. Our goal is to make sure you absolutely love what you receive.

A custom woven blanket based on your commissioned skeleton — designed for altars, couches, beds, or full emotional meltdowns.
This is a physical add-on for Bark & Bone commission clients.
We take your custom dog skeleton artwork and turn it into a heavy-duty woven throw — a tribute you can touch, wrap up in, or lay across the foot of the bed like an honorary ghost.
What’s Included:
* One custom-woven blanket featuring your dog’s skeletal artwork
* Name, breed, and established year included in the design
* Measures approximately 50x60" (standard throw size) or 60x80"
* Woven from 100% cotton for durability, comfort, and weight

REMEMBER:
Woven textures don’t capture fine detail like prints or stickers.
Long hair or fluff (think German Shepherds, Huskies, and Border Collies) will look slightly less crisp due to the woven texture. These blankets have a beautiful vintage charm and your Pomeranian will still look amazing, but if you’re after sharp details, short-coated dogs tend to render best when the Bones + Fluff version is selected.

Should I choose "Bones Only" or "Bones + Fluff"?
We offer two design styles:
Bones Only keeps things clean and skeletal—great for showcasing anatomy and text clarity.
Bones + Fluff includes your dog’s silhouette and fur texture.
While both are fabulous, it’s worth noting:
Long hair or fluff (think German Shepherds, Huskies and Border Collies) can look a little less crisp due to the woven texture. These blankets have a beautiful vintage charm, but if you’re after sharp details, smooth-coated dogs tend to render best.

How long will it take to receive my blanket?
Once you've approved the design, it will take 2-4 weeks (depending on your location within North America) to receive your blanket.
How do I care for my blanket?
These blankets are woven from 100% cotton and built to last. To keep yours looking sharp:
1. Machine wash cold (and separately), gentle cycle
2. Tumble dry low or hang to dry
3. Avoid bleach and high heat
These honestly wash up wonderfully and get softer with time.
Can I return or exchange my blanket?
Because each woven blanket is made to order, we don’t accept returns or exchanges.
Please double-check your dog's name, spelling, and design details before placing your order.
We'll send you a final image for your approval before sending your order off to the printer.
That said, if your blanket arrives damaged or with a production flaw, get in touch—we'll make it right!
How do colors look printed on a blanket?
Bark and Bone relies almost exclusively on black and white artwork.
Black wool has a deep, rich quality to it, while any white areas of the blanket will appear cream/tan.
Grays tend to pick up some amount of green and orange.
While the artwork doesn't retain the crispness of a print or sticker, these products have a vintage charm we think you'll love.
