Refund policy
BARK & BONE — REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
At Bark & Bone, different items have different fulfilment methods. Please review the product-specific sections below for details on refunds, exchanges, and replacements.
1. Made-to-Order Apparel (hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc)
All apparel is made to order and printed specifically for you once your order is placed.
Before Production Begins
If you need to update your size, breed, or shipping information, please email shelley@barkandbone.ca as soon as possible. If your request is received before your garment enters production, adjustments and/or refunds can be issued.
After Production Has Started
Once your apparel has entered production:

Refunds and cancellations cannot be issued

Size exchanges cannot be offered

A new garment requires placing a new order
Replacements & Refunds (Errors or Defects Only)
Replacements or refunds are provided only if:

There is a confirmed error on our end (wrong size, wrong breed, incorrect print)

Your garment arrives with a verified manufacturing defect
If something looks incorrect or damaged, please email clear photos to shelley@barkandbone.ca and we’ll take care of it right away.
What Counts as a Manufacturing Defect
Examples of valid defects:

Incorrect size or breed compared to your order

Mispelled words (different from what appears on your order sheet)

Severely misaligned, peeling, or damaged print

Holes, major tears, or significant stitching problems
-
Heavy staining or severe discoloration out of the package
Not considered defects:
-
Slight variations in print placement
-
Minor color differences from screen settings or dye batches
-
Light fleece shedding (especially with lighter colors)
-
Normal wear after washing
2. Prints, Mini Prints & Acrylic Panels
Prints and acrylic panels are specialty-printed items.
Damage or Quality Issues
If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, or flawed, please send photos to shelley@barkandbone.ca for a replacement.
Returns

Prints and mini prints: returnable within 30 days if unused and in original condition.

Acrylic panels: non-returnable due to their custom and fragile nature.
3. Stickers (UV DTF & Matte)
Returns & Refunds
Stickers may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original condition.
If stickers arrive damaged or misprinted, a replacement will be issued upon receiving photos of the issue.
4. Digital Products (Wallpapers & Printable Files)
All digital items are final sale and cannot be refunded once downloaded.
If you experience difficulty accessing your files, please email for assistance.
5. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments
Lost Packages
If tracking shows no movement or scan updates for:

10+ business days (domestic)

20+ business days (international)
Please reach out so a carrier investigation or claim can be filed.
Delivered But Not Received
If your tracking shows “Delivered,” but the package is missing:

Check community mailboxes or parcel lockers

Check with neighbors or building staff
-
Wait 24–48 hours (carriers sometimes scan early)

Contact your local postal station
If the package cannot be located after these steps, contact me for next steps.
Damaged Shipments
If your item arrives damaged, please email photos of both the packaging and item so a replacement can be arranged.
6. Order Changes (Address, Size, Breed)
Because many Bark & Bone items are made to order, order changes must be requested immediately after purchase.
Once production begins, changes cannot be made.
Changes to the address may still be possible as there is a window between production and shipping. Please reach out immediately if you need to update your shipping address.
