Built for the people who saw a dog skeleton and thought, yes. That.
Bark & Bone started with six forgotten dog skull illustrations and a strange little Instagram account called meat.on.bones.
I thought I was just making weird anatomy-inspired dog art. Then the serious dog people found it.
The breed nerds. The trainers. The handlers. The vet med people. The sport people. The working dog people.
The owners whose dogs aren't accessories, but athletes, partners, chaos monsters, and once-in-a-lifetime companions.
You asked for more breeds. I made room for them. You asked for apparel. I put the bones on hoodies and tees. You asked for art that felt less like cute pet merch and more like the dogs you actually build your life around.
I’m not a trainer, breeder, or sport competitor. But I know obsession when I see it.
What if my dog's breed isn't listed?
We’ll design it for you! On apparel order pages, select “Not Listed” and enter your breed in the space provided. New breeds are created as preorders.
What if my dog's a mixed breed?
You have options! Choose the closest match from the gallery and add a note at checkout, or start a custom X-ray commission for your actual dog.
What the hell is that?
It's called a baculum (crotch bone), and yes, your male dog has one. That's why there's an option to select whether your dog is Male or Female. If you'd rather not see it, select "Surprise Me." Most times, I use the female skeleton as the default.
Can I customize my hoodie?
Hell yes! Choose your dog’s gender and/or add their name. You’ll be able to confirm the details before anything is printed.
When will I receive my item(s)?
Digital products are delivered instantly by email. Physical products are made to order. Production usually takes 5–7 business days, and shipping is typically 5–10 business days. Expect about 2–4 weeks total.
Where do you ship?
Apparel ships worldwide. Fine art prints and acrylic panels currently ship within Canada and the continental U.S.
How do hoodies and tees fit?
Both are unisex. Hoodies fit true to size. Tees fit more oversized in smaller sizes and closer to standard in larger sizes. Best tip: compare your favourite hoodie or tee to the size chart.
